2023-24 Open Enrollment

Open Enrollment for 2023-24 is open in BenefitSolver from May 15 through May 30.

All TPS Staff members MUST select their coverage (regardless if there are no changes), submit required dependent documents, or select the waiver option in BenefitSolver by Tuesday, May 30.

If you...

  • Will be enrolling in health insurance through the district you must log in to BenefitSolver, upload your documents, and select your coverage by May 30
  • Are waiving benefits, you must do so in BenefitSolver by May 30. (See instructions below on how to waive out.)
  • Intend to keep the same coverage for the 2023-24 school year that you currently have, you MUST log in to BenefitSolver, upload your documents, and select/verify your coverage by May 30.
  • Are not changing coverage but do not log in to BenefitSolver and follow the outlined process, you will lose your coverage.
  • Miss the May 30 deadline, no exceptions will be permitted.

The current medical and prescription plans will end on June 30, 2023. 

How to Log In

  • Log in to the MyNJBenefitsHub website through your MyNewJersey account at https://my.state.nj.us
  • If you do not have a MyNewJersey account, please create an account to enroll in benefits. At the bottom of the screen, along with your MBOS and EPIC buttons, click the button that reads BenefitSolver.
  • If you do not have the Benefitsolver button go to the NJDPB website https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/pensions/ and follow the instructions provided to add the button to your myNewJersey account.

How to Register

  • Benefit-eligible employees will have received their letter by May 15 with instructions regarding the online SEHBP enrollment process in the BenefitSolver system. If you have not received a letter, you will be able to set up your account by following the below information.
  • If you are unable to log in via your MyNewJersey account, please log in directly by navigating to http://mynjbenefitshub.nj.gov and selecting "Register."
  • Enter your Social Security number, date of birth, and zip code.
  • Our Company Key is SHBP/SEHBP.

Waiving Benefits

The district is no longer using the benefits waiver form. To waive out, you will need to log in BenefitSolver and begin the enrollment process, you will see “waive plan.” If you do not want to enroll in a medical plan, you will select the option to waive it at the bottom.
