All Trenton Public School District Schools will follow the full-day schedule on Tuesday, Sept. 12. Local, state and multiple federal authorities are continuing to investigate. There will be an increased police presence in and around our schools on Tuesday.
Student and staff safety is our top priority. We will continue to update our families as more information is made available.

The Trenton Public School District has been working with the Trenton Police Department to investigate the threat against schools. TPD has notified the district that these threats are still being investigated. The shelter-in-place will remain in effect until the end of the school day. The district will be releasing students on schedule in a modified way.
- Student dismissal will follow the full-day schedule.
- Bus-riding students will be held in the building until their bus arrives.
- Car riders will remain in the building until their ride has arrived at the front of the school or designated pick-up location.
- TPD, school security, and administrators will be present at dismissal for those walking home.

The district has implemented a districtwide shelter-in-place. District officials have received an email that contains threatening language to our schools. The Trenton Police Department has been notified and is working with TPS to investigate the situation.
During shelter-in-place, normal activity can take place in the building, but no one is able to enter or exit. The safety of our staff and students is our top priority. We will provide updates as information is made available.
