The Trenton Public School District Human Resources Department celebrates the work of mentor teachers through the Mentor of the Month Spotlight.
October: Kudos to Jhasmany Saavedra, Bilingual Elementary Teacher at Monument Intermediate School, who was recognized as the October Mentor of the Month! Jhasmany was nominated by Veronica Werts, Elementary Teacher at Monument Intermediate School.
“Mr. Saavedra has been more than accommodating with my schedule. Our teaching schedules do not line up for lunch or prep. He has met with me outside of school hours virtually and has been extremely helpful and informative. He is also very calm and kind. I feel confident after every meeting.
