The Trenton Public School District has built three emergency closing days into the 2025–26 school year calendar. These days are used only if the district must close due to an emergency, including weather-related events.
Please review the updates and explanations below, as some dates have changed due to emergency closures.
District Closing Updates
- Mott, Cadwalader and Rivera Elementary Schools ONLY: These schools will be in session on Monday, Feb. 16, due to using an additional emergency closing day. Schools will follow the regular day schedule. The district has coordinated this make-up day with each school. If you have questions, please contact your school’s main office.
- All other schools: All district schools except the three listed above will be closed on Monday, Feb. 16.
- Friday, May 22, 2026: All district schools and offices will be open. This date was previously identified as the first emergency make-up day but will now be an in-person school day following the regular schedule.
