Trenton Public Schools is proud to announce the launch of its Student Attendance Billboard Campaign, a new districtwide initiative designed to promote the importance of daily, on-time attendance while celebrating the creativity of TPS staff.
Earlier this year, district employees were invited to submit positive, motivational slogans encouraging students to come to school every day ready to learn. Selected messages are now featured on billboards across the city, sharing reminders of encouragement and support with the entire Trenton community.
Billboard Locations:
- Rt. 129 & Cass St: Sean Smith (Hedgepeth/Williams)
- N Clinton & Perry: Javon Green (Bus Driver)
- Brunswick Ave & Sylvester: Melanie Higginbotham (Trenton Ninth Grade Academy)
- Prospect & Stuyvesant: Sharlene Kenton (Gregory Elementary)
- Willow Street & Passaic St: Edwin Quezada (Holland Middle School)
“This campaign is about more than attendance, it’s about showing our students that the entire community believes in them and wants to see them succeed,” said Hope Grant, assistant superintendent of secondary schools. “We are proud of our staff whose words of encouragement now shine across the city.”
The Attendance Billboard Campaign is part of TPS’s ongoing effort to foster student success through consistent attendance, strong school-family partnerships, and community support.
