Parent Empowerment Series Overview
Objective: To build strong partnerships between families and schools by empowering parents and guardians through educational workshops and training, enhancing students’ socio-emotional, academic, and overall school experiences.
Partnership: Office of Student Services, Family & Community Engagement (FACE) in collaboration with Catholic Charities NJ4S Mercer.
Workshop Series: A three-part series designed to support school success and strengthen home-school connections.
Workshop Topics:
- Bringing on the Calm
Focus: Managing stress effectively.
- Is this Normal?
Focus: Understanding developmentally appropriate behaviors for children.
- Limits that Liberate
Focus: Implementing and understanding the importance of setting limits.
